A 55 kilometre road race through the undulating hills of Nannup attracted over 70 riders on Sunday as part of the South West Cycle Club’s first 2019
Melo Velo event. Assisted by Margaret River’s own Brendan Morrison, the ride was staged in perfect sunny weather with three grades of cyclists enjoying the course.
A grade was won by Bryce Lanigan, second was Lowen Ferry in second and in third place was Courtland Wood.
Col Tierney took out the B Grade with James Stephenson in second and Harrison Lawler in third.
The C grade was a three way tie between Aaron Lock, Ian Kugler and Kevin Keally.
Thanks to the South West Cycle Club and Melo Velo for a great event.
